Volunteer with Stepahead Support – A Rewarding Experience

Volunteer for us and we will provide you with full and ongoing training to develop your skills. The sessions cover topics that concern young people and will be specific to the role you wish to undertake.

Our volunteers operate in various roles depending upon their availability, skills and preferences.  We currently have volunteers providing befriending support to children and young people, supporting administration roles and helping to run groups and activities.

Volunteers can help for as much or as little as they can manage, for example supporting the ‘drop-in’ centre where our young people come for help and advice, or providing workshops on DIY or a sporting interest, depending on their background.

Transform a life

Your input can make a huge difference to a young person and sharing your life experiences and skills can be particularly rewarding. Anyone can volunteer: however, please note that, as our service users are vulnerable young people, we have to ensure that all applicants have satisfactory references and are CRB checked.
